

Once an offer has been submitted, it is important to respond to it without too much delay to keep the sale momentum moving forwards. This is quite an emotionally charged time for both parties and unwanted delays lead to frustration and possibly the deal breaking down.
During this period you will be involved in negotiations on price and settlement time which can vary from 6 weeks to 6 months (depending on the buyers needs). In addition there may be special conditions placed upon the sale. For example the offer placed may be subject to: a successful pest and building inspection or subject to final finances being approved or subject to certain repairs being fixed or gardens cleared etc.
NOTE: All serious offers should be submitted in writing to the vendor by the agent.
